NetWorker update release


For all who have suffered from the bugs of the previous hotfix. Here is a pain softener release!

The second cumulative hotfix release for those who are using NetWorker version 7.6 SP1.
Please note that this cumulative hot fix can be installed as fresh installation or upgrade installation.

It is release, Build 436.

Or with other words, what is fixed in this release?

Cumulative hotfix includes the following new fixes:

LGTsc30997: Encrypted recover does not recover all files.

NW124428  : save: fixed free of unmalloc()’ed memory in hardlink processing.
NW123797  : MAC OS X: save failed to gather extended attribute values for files.

NW121692  : Datetime field of some NetWorker commandd are garbled in Japanese locale.

NW124076  : MAC OS X: Unable to backup file system mounted through fstab.

NW123563  : NMC becomes unresponsive when switching between tabs it hangs at 5%.

NW114129  : OpenVMS: backup fails due to 30 second RPC timeout.

NW118927  : GPT partition table support (originally "EFI Partition on VSS SYSTEM FILESET backup fails due to BOOT BCD error").

NW121085  : Windows: skipping any mount point in the path of any writers of the system.

NW121897  : NDMP: all tapes are marked as "prematurely full" at EOM.

NW122693  : Solaris hangs when uninstall the NetWorker Storage node software.

NW123608  : NDMP DSA backups do not run successfully when the -P parameter is specified.
