NetWorker update release


The fifth cumulative hotfix release for those who are using NetWorker version 7.6 SP3.
Please note that this cumulative hot fix can be installed as fresh installation or upgrade installation.

It is release, Build 891.

Cumulative hotfix includes generally the following new fixes:

NW138789 – Networker Device Wizard overwrites valid volume label without confirmation

NW138379 – VADP : Save does not honor the VSS:*=off flag in Windows 2008

NW134860 – save.exe crashes on Windows 2003 SP2 after upgrading NetWorker client

NW137919 – NetWorker not deleting Bootstrap savesets from disk volumes after staging the savesets to physical tapes

NW135701 – NMC does not show %Used correctly for volumes, where mminfo does.

NW139047 – NMC savepsm backup on SunCluster 3.2 fails for NMCASA saveset

NW139500 – VSS: allow for volume shadow copy to be turned off on Windows 2008 and later NetWorker clients

NW139116 – Silent/unattended install failing on 7.6.3

NW128189 – Receiving 1 to 4 DB2 traps during full backups with NMDB2 4.0

NW137463 – NMSAP backups report failed in savegrp and daemon logs but a status of succeeded

NW138763 – NetWorker initiates expired saveset deletion but it is not taken by Avamar, so Avamar server filled up
