After downloading the necessary binary, make sure it is the good build!
Hi Peter,
Did you try the last release of NetWorker (7.6.3.1)?
I’d like to know if this is a specific NetWorker release issue or something else?
Regards,
Moab
Update, I got the same problem with 7.6.2.6. Downgrading to 7.6.1.3 worked wor me to…
Cheers
I go into the exact same problem, after installing Networker 7.6.22.
Did you find a better solution than downgrading?
Hi,
My name is kelvin. I have some query for Networker version 7.6.2.2 after i upgrade to this version i’m not able to open Check point smart dashboard R65 console.
It show me error:
Runtime Error: C:\Windows\FW1\R65\fw1\bin\fw.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
If i downgrade to version 7.6.1.3 it able work with CheckPoint R65 console. May i know the reason of this problem?
Appreciated for your help to assist on my problem!
Thansk,
Kelvin
Hi Kelvin,
Heem, I can’t see any relation in between the two products.
NetWorker binary files doesn’t load Virtual C++ runtime library to run on Windows OS. The NetWorker Management Console (NMC) on the other hand is a Java based application.
Make sure the version you downloaded is healthy and not corrupted by any way?
It also might be useful if you would check the Windows “Data Execution Prevention” and make sure it is set on “Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only”.
On the other hand you version 7.6.2.4 is release since a week ago:
http://nsrd.moab.be/2011/09/01/networker-7-6-2-4-update-release/
Give it a try!
I’ll be happy to hear the result.
